The chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, tahini, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, cardamom, cinnamon, and sea salt.
- Add the nuts and coconut flakes, stirring to coat everything well.
- Transfer the mixture to the baking sheet and press it down into a single layer.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then rotate the tray and bake for another 15 minutes.
- Allow the granola to cool for 15 minutes before adding the chocolate chips.
- Once completely cool, break the granola apart and enjoy.
