Ingredients

The base

  • 1 large head Cauliflower

The flavorings

  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp Cream cheese
  • ¾ tsp Sea salt

Optional garnishes

  • to taste Chives

Instructions

  1. Cook the cauliflower florets using your preferred method: microwave, steam, or boil until very soft.
  2. If using the microwave, place florets in a bowl with water, cover, and microwave for 10-15 minutes.
  3. For steaming, place florets in a steamer basket over boiling water, cover, and steam for 10-15 minutes.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. In a food processor, combine the cooked cauliflower, sautéed garlic, butter, cream cheese, and salt.
  6. Blend until completely smooth, scraping the sides as needed.
  7. Adjust salt to taste and garnish with chives if desired.
