Ingredients

  • ¾ cup flax seeds
  • ¾ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ½ cup raw sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup slivered almonds
  • ½ cup sliced green olives
  • 4 tbsp ground chia seeds
  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine all ingredients except water in a food processor and pulse to break them down slightly.
  3. Transfer to a mixing bowl and add boiling water; mix until a soft dough forms and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Spread the dough onto a lined baking sheet into a thin, even layer.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, then cool slightly.
  6. Carefully transfer the crackers to a flat surface and cut them into squares or diamonds.
  7. Return the cut crackers to the baking sheet and reduce the oven temperature to 170°F.
  8. Bake until crispy and dry, about 3 to 5 hours.
  9. Let the crackers cool completely and store in an airtight container.
