Instructions
- Bloom the yeast in warm water for 5 minutes.
- In a stand mixer, combine flour, salt, sugar, dry milk powder, butter, and egg, then slowly drizzle in the yeast mixture.
- Mix on medium speed until the dough is shiny and smooth, about 10 minutes.
- Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and let it rest. Divide it into 32 equal portions and shape into balls.
- Place the balls on baking sheets, cover, and proof until doubled in size, about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and brush the tops with egg wash.
- Bake until golden brown, about 18-20 minutes, rotating halfway through.
