Mini Jalapeño Pepperoni Pizzas

Ingredients

The pizza base

  • ½ lb. Fresh Pizza Dough
  • 10 slices Jalapeño

The toppings

  • 4 oz. Uncured Turkey Pepperoni Slices
  • 4 oz. Fontina Cheese Sliced
  • 8 oz. Fresh Moist Mozzarella Cheese Ball
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 10 oz. Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tbsp. Grated Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

  1. Spread pastry flour over the counter and shape the fresh dough into a 10-inch circle.
  2. Coat the bottom of an 8-inch cast iron skillet with olive oil and place the rolled dough inside, forming a wall around the sides.
  3. Chop the fresh mozzarella and layer it with turkey pepperoni on the dough, then cover with shredded mozzarella.
  4. Sprinkle oregano over the cheese, add crushed tomatoes, and top with grated parmesan, Fontina cheese, turkey pepperoni, and jalapeños.
  5. Fold the edges of the crust into the pan and brush with an egg wash.
  6. Preheat the oven to 400°F and bake for 15 to 18 minutes until brown. Allow to cool before serving.
