Ingredients

Nuts and Base

  • 4 cups nuts
  • 1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
  • ½ cup almond meal flour
  • 1 cup applesauce (no added sugar)
  • 20 drops vanilla liquid stevia
  • ¼ cup coconut sugar

Spices

  • 2 tbsp chia seed meal
  • 2 tsp cardamom
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • ½ tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Soak the nuts for about 8 hours, then rinse and strain them.
  2. In a bowl, combine the soaked nuts, shredded coconut, almond meal flour, applesauce, vanilla stevia, and coconut sugar.
  3. In another bowl, mix the chia seed meal, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, and sea salt.
  4. Combine the contents of the two bowls thoroughly.
  5. Dehydrate the mixture at 115 degrees overnight or until dry and crunchy.
