Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • cup filtered water
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • dash vanilla extract
  • pinch sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon tapioca starch

Instructions

  1. Boil the cashews in separate boiling water for about 5 minutes, then rinse and drain them.
  2. In a blender, combine the boiled cashews, filtered water, maple syrup, vanilla extract, sea salt, and tapioca starch.
  3. Blend until the mixture is creamy and glossy, which may take 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness with more maple syrup if desired.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool in the fridge for at least an hour, preferably three hours or overnight before using.
