Ingredients

The slaw

  • 1 12 ounce bag broccoli slaw
  • ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 medium apple, diced
  • ¾ cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

The dressing

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine the broccoli slaw, red onion, bacon, apple, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, and parsley in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss to combine.
  4. Cover the salad and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Serve the salad in a bowl and garnish with additional bacon, sunflower seeds, and parsley if desired.
