Vegan Apple Crumble

The oat crumble

unsalted vegan butter, cut into pieces, frozen or cold
Instructions
- Prepare the crumble by mixing all ingredients except for the butter in a bowl until combined.
- Add the butter and mix with your hands until large clumps form, then freeze for 30 minutes.
- For the filling, combine all filling ingredients in a large mixing bowl, stir well, and let sit for up to 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease your baking dish.
- Toss the filling one last time, then add it to the dish, leaving excess juices behind.
- Top the filling with the crumble, mounding as needed, and bake for one hour until golden brown and bubbling.
- Let cool for 15 minutes before serving with ice cream.
