Instructions
- Prepare two 8x8-inch pans by lining them with plastic wrap and spraying with non-stick spray.
- Sprinkle gelatin over cold water in a pot and let it sit for 5 minutes before adding boiling water and stirring until dissolved.
- Stir in sugar, bring the mixture to a boil, and simmer for 25 minutes while stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and pour the mixture into prepared pans, adding flavors and colors as desired.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Once set, lift the candy out of the pans using the plastic wrap and cut into ½-inch cubes.
- Roll the cubes in sugar and allow them to sit at room temperature for 1-2 days for crystallization.
