Ingredients

The dough

  • 1 ¼ cups warm milk
  • 2 ½ teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

The chocolate glaze

  • ½ cup Nutella
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk, yeast, melted butter, and eggs in a mixing bowl, then add flour and salt.
  2. Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rise in a greased bowl until doubled in size.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut out heart shapes using cookie cutters.
  4. Heat oil in a pot and fry the doughnuts until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Mix Nutella, heavy cream, and vanilla to make the glaze.
  6. Pipe the glaze into each cooled doughnut and sprinkle with sugar.
