Ingredients

The rolls

  • 6 pieces top sliced hot dog buns
  • to taste Italian parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)
  • to taste Old Bay seasoning (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon zest, lemon juice, hot sauce, and Old Bay seasoning.
  2. Whisk the dressing ingredients together until well combined.
  3. Add chopped shallots and celery to the dressing and mix until fully incorporated.
  4. In a large bowl, gently fold the mayonnaise mixture into the crabmeat, being careful not to break the lumps.
  5. Serve the crab salad on the hot dog buns, optionally toasting the buns with butter.
