Ingredients

The kale

  • 2 medium bunches kale

The seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and adjust the racks.
  2. Remove kale leaves from the stems and chop them into medium-to-large pieces.
  3. Wash the kale thoroughly and dry it completely using a salad spinner or paper towels.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the kale with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper, tossing until well coated.
  5. Spread the kale evenly on a baking sheet, using two sheets if necessary.
  6. Bake for 5 minutes, then stir the kale and return it to the oven for an additional 3 to 5 minutes until crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
