Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 large egg

Add-ins

  • ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup chopped deli ham
  • 1 heaping tablespoon chopped chives

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Add cheese, ham, and chives to the dry mixture and lightly toss.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the wet ingredients together.
  4. Combine the wet and dry mixtures and stir until just incorporated.
  5. If possible, let the batter sit for 20-30 minutes for fluffier waffles.
  6. Preheat the waffle iron and ladle batter into it according to the manufacturer's instructions.
