Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, garlic powder, sugar, and salt.
- Add the cheese and toss until coated with the flour mixture.
- Stir in the buttermilk and melted butter until just combined, being careful not to over mix.
- Using a greased 1/4-cup measure, scoop the dough and drop onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden.
- While the biscuits are baking, whisk together the topping ingredients.
- Brush the topping over the hot biscuits immediately after baking and serve warm.
