BLT Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 slices egg bread
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1-2 slices lacy swiss cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread and stack them buttered sides together.
  2. Layer 2 slices of cheddar cheese on top, followed by bacon, lacy swiss cheese, tomato, and the remaining slices of cheese.
  3. Place the sandwich in a fry pan buttered side down over medium-high heat and cover with a lid.
  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden, then reduce heat to medium and flip the sandwich.
  5. Cook the other side for 2-3 minutes until golden and cheese has melted.
  6. Cut in half and serve with homemade tomato soup.
