Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium-low heat until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion in the remaining bacon grease until translucent.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until golden brown, then add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Stir in the undiluted cream of mushroom soup and crumbled bacon, then mix in the milk and cheese until melted.
- Season with salt and pepper, then fold in the drained green beans until evenly combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and top with French fried onions.
- Bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
