Ingredients

The green beans

  • 1 pound green beans

The garlic and butter

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the green beans by washing and trimming the ends.
  2. In a medium pot, cover the green beans with cold water, add salt, and bring to a boil.
  3. Lower the heat and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until the beans are cooked to your liking.
  4. Drain the green beans and set them aside.
  5. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat and toast the minced garlic until golden.
  6. Add the cooked green beans to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat.
