Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and grease a mini muffin tin.
- Melt the butter and chocolate together over a double boiler until smooth, then cool slightly.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Mix the sugar, eggs, vanilla, and almond extract into the chocolate mixture until combined, then add the flour mixture and stir.
- Fill the muffin tins with batter and bake for 14-16 minutes until set but soft in the center. Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a rack.
- For the glaze, melt the chocolate, cream, and corn syrup together over a double boiler until smooth, then stir in the toffee bits.
- Arrange the cooled brownie bites on a baking sheet and pour the glaze over them, smoothing it out. Chill for 10 minutes until set.
