Brussels Sprouts With Bacon and Apples

Instructions
- Cook the bacon in the microwave for about four minutes until crispy.
- Melt butter in a large sauté pan and cook the chopped onion with a pinch of salt until translucent.
- Steam the Brussels sprouts in a steamer basket for 8 to 10 minutes until tender.
- Add the diced apples to the sautéed onions and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes until the apples are slightly tender and have brown edges.
- Combine the cooked Brussels sprouts with the onion and apple mixture, and season with salt and pepper.
- Crumble the cooked bacon over the top and toss with chopped parsley before serving.
