Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

The Bacon

thick-cut bacon, sliced into 1-inch chunks

maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
- Wash the Brussels sprouts and pat them dry. Trim the ends and cut them in half.
- Place the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss to coat.
- Roast the Brussels sprouts for 15 minutes, then toss and roast for another 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
- While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, slice the bacon into 1-inch chunks and cook in a pan over medium/high heat for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked.
- Drain excess grease from the bacon and mix in maple syrup.
- Once the Brussels sprouts are done, combine them with the bacon and serve immediately.
