Maple Balsamic-Glazed Scallops

Instructions
- Wash and dry the scallops, then set them aside.
- Heat a pan over medium-high to high heat and add the butter and maple syrup.
- Once sizzling, add the scallops, 1-2 tablespoons of pomegranate seeds, and balsamic vinegar.
- Mix the sauce around with the seeds and scallops to form a glaze as the vinegar caramelizes.
- Add the minced garlic and a dash of sea salt.
- Pan-sear the scallops for 6-8 minutes, flipping them once or twice.
- Remove from heat and serve, spooning sauce and extra pomegranate seeds over the top.
- Garnish with cracked black pepper.
