Instructions
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced onion and cook for 5 minutes until softened.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
- Pour in the broth and simmer for 4 minutes.
- Add the green beans and balsamic vinegar, cover, and cook for another 4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the remaining tablespoon of butter.
- Season with salt and toss with walnuts before serving.
