20-Minute Skillet Balsamic Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • cup broth
  • ½ pound green beans
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ cup walnuts

Instructions

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and cook for 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
  4. Pour in the broth and simmer for 4 minutes.
  5. Add the green beans and balsamic vinegar, cover, and cook for another 4 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the remaining tablespoon of butter.
  7. Season with salt and toss with walnuts before serving.
