Easy Simple Turkey Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ yellow onion finely grated
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil

Instructions

  1. Combine ground turkey, minced garlic, and grated onion in a bowl.
  2. Add oregano, salt, and pepper, then mix everything with your hands.
  3. Form the mixture into patties, using about 1/5 of the total meat for each.
  4. Heat avocado oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the patties for 5 minutes on one side, then flip them.
  6. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Serve the burgers with your choice of toppings.
