Instructions
- Heat a large pot over medium heat and melt the butter.
- Add garlic and chili flakes, cooking for 30 seconds while stirring constantly.
- Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer without boiling.
- Add the clams to the pot, then season with salt and pepper.
- Cover the pot and simmer for 7-9 minutes until the clams have opened, discarding any that remain shut.
- Stir in the lemon juice and herbs before serving immediately, garnished with herb sprigs and lemon wedges if desired.
