Ingredients

Greek Pork

  • 3 pounds pork shoulder, fat trimmed
  • 1 unit onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

For the Pitas

  • as needed unit pitas
  • as needed unit tzatziki
  • as needed unit toppings of choice (like lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, feta, lemon, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Place all pork ingredients in a slow cooker on low for 10-12 hours or in an Instant Pot on the meat/stew setting for about 45 minutes.
  2. Shred the cooked pork and mix it with the juices.
  3. Assemble the pitas with the shredded pork and desired toppings.
