Lavender Lemonade

The lemonade

Instructions
- Create a pouch with dried lavender in cheesecloth and secure it.
- In a saucepan, combine ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water, and bring to a simmer.
- Add the lavender pouch and simmer for about 45 minutes.
- Remove the pouch and let the syrup cool completely.
- In a pitcher, mix the lavender syrup, lemon juice, and the remaining 3½ cups of water, then serve over crushed ice.
