Ingredients

The dough

  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • ½ cup warm water
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup butter, room temperature
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour

For topping

  • 3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Combine warm water and yeast in a bowl and let it sit until the yeast dissolves.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, mix milk, butter, sugar, and salt, then microwave until melted.
  3. Pour the melted mixture into the yeast mixture and whisk in the eggs.
  4. Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms, then knead for 6-8 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1½-2 hours until doubled.
  6. Divide the dough in half, roll each half into a 12-inch circle, and cut into wedges.
  7. Roll up the wedges from the wide end to form crescent shapes and place on a greased baking sheet.
  8. Cover and let rise for about 30 minutes until puffy.
  9. Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C), brush the rolls with melted butter, and bake for 12-14 minutes until golden brown.
