Spinach Dip

Ingredients

  • 10 oz Frozen spinach (thawed and drained; or 1 lb fresh spinach, blanched and drained)
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • 8 oz Cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • ½ cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • ½ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, and softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add the garlic, spinach, grated parmesan cheese, sea salt, and black pepper to the mixing bowl. Stir well to combine.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a square baking dish or cast iron skillet, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the dip, covering it completely.
  6. Bake spinach dip for 20-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the dip is hot.
  7. Remove from the oven, and let the dip cool for a few minutes before serving.
