Ingredients

The burgers

  • 1 pound American Kobe Beef or grass-fed beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 4 ounces crumbled blue cheese

Grilled Marinated Portobello Mushrooms

  • 3 medium portobello mushrooms
  • 4 ounces onion, sliced into rings
  • ΒΌ cup low carb Italian Salad Dressing

Compound Butter (optional)

  • 1 ounce stick butter, very soft
  • 2 ounces crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 tablespoon minced parsley
  • 2 teaspoons minced shallot

Instructions

  1. Prepare the compound butter by mixing softened butter with minced parsley, shallot, and crumbled blue cheese, then refrigerate.
  2. Prepare the mushrooms and onions by scraping out the gills from the mushrooms, dipping them in salad dressing, and grilling them along with the onions until charred.
  3. Mix the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, Montreal Steak Seasoning, and crumbled blue cheese, then form into patties.
  4. Grill the patties to your desired doneness.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing the patties on the grilled mushrooms, topping them with compound butter and grilled onions.
