Ingredients

The burgers

  • 1 lb raw 95% lean ground beef
  • 1 oz blue cheese crumbles
  • 3 teaspoons blackened seasoning

The coleslaw

  • 1 cup dry coleslaw mix
  • 3 tablespoons light blue cheese dressing

The assembly

  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 pieces hamburger or sandwich buns

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your grill.
  2. 2. Combine the ground beef and blue cheese crumbles, mixing well.
  3. 3. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
  4. 4. Sprinkle blackened seasoning over all sides of each patty, rubbing it into the surface.
  5. 5. Grill the patties to your desired doneness, flipping as needed.
  6. 6. In a bowl, combine the coleslaw mix and blue cheese dressing, stirring until coated.
  7. 7. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, add a cooked burger, and top with ΒΌ cup of coleslaw before closing with the other half of the bun.
