Instructions
- Caramelize the onions in olive oil, brown sugar, and salt until golden brown, then add balsamic vinegar and set aside.
- Mash the black beans in a large bowl and mix in the egg, olive oil, mustard, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Incorporate the ground beef gently into the mixture and shape into 6 patties.
- Brush both sides of the patties with mustard and cook in a skillet until golden brown, flipping once.
- Top the burgers with blue cheese and broil for a short time to melt the cheese.
- Serve the burgers on toasted buns with onion marmalade.
