Ingredients

The dough

  • 1 recipe pizza dough
  • 6 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

The toppings

  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • ½ medium red onion, chopped
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • to taste green onion, for garnish (optional)
  • to taste hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400℉ and press the pizza dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, then prebake for 11-13 minutes until golden brown.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper, then set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage, onion, and green pepper until the sausage is no longer pink, about 5 minutes, then add garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and add the egg mixture, cooking and stirring until almost set, then spread the cooked eggs over the crust.
  5. Top the pizza with the sausage mixture followed by mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, and cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the crust is fully baked and the cheese is melted.
  7. Cut into squares and serve, garnished with green onion and hot sauce if desired.
