Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat medium-high and add the ground meat.
- Break down the meat and add sausage pieces, seasoning with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cook until fully cooked, about 5-6 minutes.
- Add the onions, green peppers, red peppers, and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
- Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, bay leaf, salt, pepper, and wine.
- Fold in the cooked spaghetti and stir well.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove bay leaf before serving.
