Ingredients

  • 12 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 pound almond bark
  • ½ cup red hot candies
  • 10 cookies Oreo cookies
  • ¼-½ teaspoon cinnamon flavored oil (optional)
  • 2-3 tablespoons semisweet or dark chocolate chips
  • kosher or sea salt

Instructions

  1. Place the popped popcorn in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Crush the red hots in a ziplock bag using a meat mallet or hammer.
  3. Chop the Oreo cookies into rough crumbs or chunks.
  4. Melt the almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth, adding cinnamon oil if using.
  5. Pour the melted almond bark over the popcorn and stir to coat evenly.
  6. Spread the popcorn mixture onto a lined baking sheet.
  7. Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle them over the popcorn.
  8. Sprinkle kosher or sea salt over the mixture to taste.
  9. Let the popcorn harden, refrigerating if necessary, then break into chunks and serve.
