Ingredients

The fish

  • 4 6-oz Cod fillets

The seasoning and oil

  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • ¾ tsp Paprika
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • tsp Cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 spray Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Pat each fish fillet dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne.
  4. In another bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  5. Brush each cod fillet with the olive oil mixture on both sides and sprinkle with seasoning.
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the cod in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 140-145°F (60-63°C).
