Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat.
- Smash and chop the garlic, then add it to the pan.
- If using, add red pepper flakes and sauté the garlic until golden.
- Chop the Swiss chard stems into small pieces and add them to the pan.
- Mix and add a drop of water, then cover and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
- Chop the leaves of the Swiss chard and add them to the pan.
- Sauté the leaves until just wilted, stirring frequently.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
