Ingredients

The pork chops

  • 4 pieces Pork Chops

The sauce

  • 3-4 cloves Medium-Sized Garlic
  • 2 tbs Honey
  • 1 inch grated ginger root
  • 2 tbs chopped green onion
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to about 500°F.
  2. Sear the pork chops over direct heat until they reach an internal temperature of 140°F.
  3. Let the chops rest for approximately 5-10 minutes to allow residual heat to raise the temperature to 145°F.
  4. In a medium saucepan, brown the garlic.
  5. Add the green onions, ginger, soy sauce, and honey to the pan and whisk together.
  6. Simmer the sauce for 5 minutes and season to taste with pepper.
  7. Brush the sauce on the chops as they come off the grill or drizzle it over sliced chops.
