Instructions
- Peel the onion and slice it thinly or into half-moons.
- In a bowl, combine the rice vinegar, red wine vinegar, water, and sugar, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the sliced onions to the mixture, along with any optional ingredients if using.
- Let the mixture sit for at least 10 minutes, but it can be stored in the fridge for up to a couple of weeks.
