Ingredients

The green beans

  • 1 lb green beans

The seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon parmesan cheese, grated
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Boil a pot of water and blanch the green beans for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Transfer the green beans to cold water to stop cooking and pat them dry.
  3. Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Sauté the green beans with the garlic powder, salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese for 3 minutes.
  5. Add sesame seeds, toss, and remove from heat.
  6. Serve immediately.
