Instructions
- Steam the green beans for 2 to 3 minutes until vibrant green but slightly undercooked.
- Plunge the beans into icy cold water to stop cooking and preserve color.
- Drain the beans and let them air dry in a colander.
- Combine coconut aminos, sesame oil, maple syrup, minced garlic, ground ginger, sambal oelek, salt, and pepper in a measuring cup and mix well.
- Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat and pour the sauce in, cooking for about 30 seconds.
- Add the green beans and sauté for about 5 minutes until cooked to your liking.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and serve.
