Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Cut the hamburger bun into bite-sized cubes and toss in melted butter, garlic powder, and salt.
- Bake the bread cubes for 15 minutes until they are crouton-like.
- In a large pot, melt the remaining butter over medium heat and sauté the celery and onion for about 4 minutes.
- Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Remove the vegetables and add the ground beef to the pot, cooking until browned and breaking it up.
- Stir in the hamburger seasoning, then add the vegetables back into the pot.
- Pour in the beef broth, cheese soup, half and half, yogurt, and about ½ cup of shredded cheese.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes.
- Serve topped with remaining cheese and croutons.
