Instructions
- Add about 1-inch of water to a medium pot.
- Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat and insert a steamer basket.
- Set eggs on the steamer basket and cover with a lid.
- Let the eggs cook for 6 to 15 minutes depending on desired doneness.
- While the eggs are cooking, fill a medium bowl with ice and water.
- Once the eggs are done cooking, immediately transfer them to the ice water to cool.
- Let the eggs rest for at least a few minutes before peeling.
- To peel, crack the egg all over, roll it on the countertop, and run it under cold water.
