Ingredients

The chocolate layer

  • 1 cup sugar free chocolate chips

The peanut butter filling

  • 2 tbsp protein powder
  • 2 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • cup peanut butter powder
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • optional sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. 1. Set up a double boiler and bring water to a light boil.
  2. 2. Add chocolate chips to the top bowl and stir until melted.
  3. 3. Line a muffin tin with liners.
  4. 4. In a medium bowl, mix protein powder, peanut butter, peanut butter powder, and almond milk until combined.
  5. 5. Place 1 tsp of melted chocolate in each liner and spread it around.
  6. 6. Roll 2 tsp of the peanut butter mixture into a flat disk and place it on top of the chocolate.
  7. 7. Cover the peanut butter with more melted chocolate until all is used.
  8. 8. Optionally, sprinkle with sea salt.
  9. 9. Freeze for at least 30 minutes before serving.
