Ingredients

The burger and veggies

  • 2 patties burger patties (lamb, beef, chicken, turkey, veggie or vegan)
  • 1 unit onion
  • 1 unit zucchini
  • 1 unit bell pepper
  • 1 unit eggplant
  • 1 unit tomato
  • 1 unit asparagus

The greens

  • 2 large handfuls fresh greens (arugula, spinach, baby kale, mesclun, or other salad greens)

Fresh crunchy veggies

  • 1 unit grated carrot
  • 1 unit grated beet
  • 1 unit cucumber
  • 1 unit radish
  • 1 unit shredded cabbage
  • 1 unit tomatoes
  • 1 unit sprouts
  • 1 unit avocado

Optional additions

  • to taste unit seeds
  • to taste unit nuts
  • to taste unit fermented things (sauerkraut or kimchi)
  • to taste unit pickled onions or shallots

Dressing

  • to taste unit dressing (caesar, gorgonzola, balsamic, tahini, green goddess, or lemon and olive oil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high or pan-sear.
  2. Prepare the burgers and veggies.
  3. Grill the burgers and grill-able veggies, turning down the heat after marking.
  4. Assemble the bowls with greens, fresh veggies, grilled veggies, and burgers, then spoon dressing on top.
