Instructions
- Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl.
- Combine cinnamon and sugar for the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- In a small saucepan, combine apples and water, then cook on high heat until boiling.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer the apple mixture for 5 minutes.
- Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt, then simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Combine flour and granulated sugar, then stir into the apple mixture and bring to a boil for 1 minute.
- Stir in butter and keep the apple mixture warm.
- Heat both sides of the flour tortillas on a skillet until they get some color.
- Brush one side of each tortilla with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Return the tortillas to the skillet to caramelize the sugar until golden brown.
- Fill the un-sprinkled side of each tortilla with the apple mixture and fold over.
- Drizzle with the glaze and serve immediately, optionally garnished with fresh berries and whipped cream.
