Vanilla Rooibos Tea Latte

Ingredients

The tea and milk

  • 1 bag vanilla rooibos tea
  • 6 oz boiling water
  • 6 oz unsweetened plant-based milk

The flavorings

  • 1 piece pitted Medjool date
  • 1 teaspoon coconut butter
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • to taste freshly grated nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Brew the rooibos tea in boiling water for at least 3 minutes.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the plant milk, date, coconut butter, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until it lightly boils.
  3. Transfer the milk mixture to a blender and blend on high for about 20 seconds.
  4. Pour the frothy milk mixture over the brewed tea and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
