Instructions
- Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Whisk wet ingredients in a separate bowl.
- Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until smooth, then let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
- Heat a skillet, add butter, and pour ¼ cup of batter for each pancake.
- Cook until edges firm and bubbles form, then flip and cook for another minute.
- For the caramelized apples, heat butter in a pan, add sugars until bubbling, then add apples and stir for 1 minute.
- Add half the evaporated milk, cook for 2 minutes, then add the rest of the milk and vanilla, stirring until silky.
- Pour the caramelized apple sauce over the pancakes.
