Ingredients

  • ½ cup organic, non-GMO popcorn
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or coconut oil
  • to taste none salt
  • to taste none olive oil or butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat.
  2. Add popcorn in a single layer and cover the pot.
  3. Once popping begins, shake the pot occasionally and open the lid slightly for steam to vent.
  4. Continue shaking until the popping slows down.
  5. Turn off the stove, uncover, and toss the popcorn.
  6. Season with olive oil and salt to taste, and add any additional seasonings as desired.
