Instructions
- Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat.
- Add popcorn in a single layer and cover the pot.
- Once popping begins, shake the pot occasionally and open the lid slightly for steam to vent.
- Continue shaking until the popping slows down.
- Turn off the stove, uncover, and toss the popcorn.
- Season with olive oil and salt to taste, and add any additional seasonings as desired.
