  • teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch table salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips or add-ins of your choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment or a non-stick mat.
  2. Microwave the butter for 8-10 seconds until soft, then mix with the sugars until fluffy.
  3. Add the egg yolk and vanilla, mixing until fully incorporated.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips or other add-ins.
  6. Scoop the dough onto the baking sheet and bake for 9-10 minutes.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for 1-2 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
